Geelong Monitoring Services is located 7 9/11 Leather St, Breakwater in Geelong. Geelong Monitoring Services is part of the Sectrol Group and currently employs over 40 people of which 10 guards reside and work solely patrolling and performing static guard duties in the Geelong and surrounding areas.  We currently have 3 patrol cars on duty 365 days of the year servicing both our existing clients and other monitoring clientele in an area extending south to Jan Juc, north to Lara, east to Queenscliff and west to Winchelsea.  

Geelong Monitoring Services joined the Sectrol Group in April 2007 and as a result now has access to the Sectrol Group's state of the art  security technologies. This provides security synergies and efficiencies enabling Geelong Monitoring Services to provide superior levels of security service to Geelong and districts at affordable prices.

Sectrol Security commenced operation over 30 years ago & was founded by Ken Belsar in response to what he observed as a lack of secure & reliable security systems that met the needs of the client.

Ken established the business on the motto “Peace of Mind” & a philosophy of “Security before Revenue” developing a radio based security panel that eliminated the need for dependence on telephone line connection & the subsequent risk of line tampering.

Sectrol Security purchased Southern Cross Security company in October 2006 which broadened our existing clientele in Ballarat.

The company has grown to now include an Australian Standard Monitoring & Control Centre which monitors approx 2500+ clients throughout Ballarat, Torquay, Geelong (including Whittington, Waurn Ponds, Marshall) & Regional Victoria, 24 hours per day. The business supports a staff of around 40, including a service & installation team, sales, research & development & manufacturing departments as well as security operations.
